Sagip Kapamilya Simon of Cyrene Village (SKSCV) is a resettlement site established in 2008 for families of persons with disabilities devastated by Typhoon Reming.

 

Located in the cool and green highlands of Barangay Peñafrancia, Daraga, Albay, the one-hectare parcel of land encompasses sixty housing units as well as a large multi-purpose building that serves as a venue for livelihood and enterprise development, trainings and community activities.

Objectives:

 

• To provide safe, inclusive and accessible housing and positive community environment for families of persons with disabilities affected by disasters.
• To foster a self-sufficient and sustainable village.
• To become a model village for social inclusion
